  1. Jack Kerouac once wrote – “I heard a mouse snoring in the garden weeds.”

But your snores, which have stuck to the walls, must have come from something larger than a mouse….a wayward giant, perhaps? One who wanders abandoned graffiti-streaked train tracks, or possibly frequents abandoned warehouses or unused greenhouses – places where humans aren’t likely to spot a tired giant who just needs to take a nap.

    Nice photograph, too.

      1. He would fold his bed linen neatly, too. The only neat thing for miles around.

And then, later, we might learn why he picked this particular place to take refuge, among the myriad other possibilities that might have afforded more shelter, or more protection from the threat of prying eyes….

Because he noticed his name, graffitied up above –

        ‘Kevin’.

And that made him feel at home.

        1. Kevin – god of the gnomes and his adversary, Adam – hero of the inanimate statues at night.

There are things happening here in the dark of the night I never could have imagined.
