      1. Was für’ne nette Geste :-)

  2. Martina, I am so sad for your country. It is so awful to see totally innocent people pay the price in a conflict they didn’t start. It happens all too often. We are both thinking of you and Jurgen.

    1. Thank you for your words.
I guess we may be sad for the whole world. I don’t know.
I am sad because of all the innocent people. Sad for the Polish contractor whose cousin was murdered and whose life and family’s life is changed forever. I am thinking of the family gathering on Christmas for what was meant to be a happy holiday.
I am sad because of all the families whose sons, daughters, fathers, mothers, cousins didn’t come home from what should have been a nice after work gathering at a Christmas market – the usual thing to do in Germany at this time of year.
And I AM SO ANGRY about the reactions of all the right wing nazi nuts all over the place right now.
I AM SO ANGRY because these reactions are dragging all Germans who are mourning, Germans who are trying to help, who care for other people, who spent their time and their money to help others, who try to be decent people, in the mud.
I am angry. I am sad.
I have been angry and sad a lot the last months.
And I don’t know what to do.
Trying to be a decent person I guess.
      Thank you.
