   1. These are Stone pines. Native to the Mediterranean region.The occur in Southern Europe, North Africa, and the Levant. Says wikipedia. A wonderful wonderful brilliant green against a Mistral cleared deep blue sky.
      But hey, this is a b/w photo blog … so ;-)
