Sigh. Me, too. But guess what? Today it started snowing again. After a week with cold and heavy winds from the east. While I am waiting for spring and summer, too.
Ich befürchte ja, der Schweizer kann den Schnee hier (resp. die Höhe desselben) nicht wirklich ernst nehmen ;-). Aber ab fünf Zentimetern holen wir die Schlitten raus, ja!
It’s the usual story: girl is a good swimmer and invites guy to accompany her to the pool. Guy cannot swim at all but of course, since he is a guy, he wouldn’t admit it.
Ends with him sitting there, holding the towel so to say, and watching the world go by … ;-)
Ummmm…. I don’t think so. A little too cold for me. I can’t wait for spring and summer.

No thanks .. I only swim when the water is like a warm bath.
I fear the water around here (that would be the Rhine River) is never like a warm bath ;-)
No thank you, but I’ll hold your towel and be ready to call 911.
Grin – did you read the story? That’s more or less what the guy did after the girl asked him. Except the 911 part.
No, I haven’t read the story. Sounds like a tragedy with no lifeguard, and no 911. There must have been a strong undercurrent.
