Some one piled these stones but we may never know why. Was it a burial marker, a trail marker, a cash of food, or just to get the stones out of the way? We will never know.
Aaah, the tourists are building cairns everywhere in the Alps. Every meter there is one. Mankind is a transparent mystery…. ;-)
