    1. While I was taking the photograph an elderly woman stopped and asked me why I am not taking photographs of the beautiful parts of Paris …. umph.

  1. Glue traces? I recently got aware of their patterns, and now I see them in so many places. A trained psychiatrist might write character studies based on their shapes.

    1. I think they correspond well with the remnants/outlines of the overpainted Kleister below (I use Kleister because dictionary says Kleister=glue – that doesn’t sound right).

  2. Just read this, reminded me of this post:

“Willem de Kooning gives a pastel to Robert Rauschenberg, who takes it home and promptly erases it. Next he signs his name to the erasure. Then he sells it.”

the faith of graffiti by Norman Mailer
