There was a balance struck: it was enough.
What’s outside the window?
It’s about to end.
I assumed that the situation was fairly common.
The smaller birds were chattering, as if they had dreams they were eager to share.
It wasn’t a big deal.
All manner of things shall be well.
A subtle but real pressure.
It seems like a place one shouldn’t disturb.
Promises have been made.
Doesn’t that look nice?
The tiny stretch of daylight that will become summer.
The seconds pass.
It will be there.
He had lost a great and wonderful silence.
It’s like there’s nobody out there in the dark at all.
Let there be no confusion.
It was exciting to think that there was a universe.
Maybe that was what I wanted to learn.
They look good together.
I just wanted to do something fun together.
You know, I could just take your picture.
Are you thinking what I’m thinking?
That’s about all I can remember.
I just went for a walk. To clear my head.
He’d slept dreamlessly but woke into melancholy.
It really was better to be free.
You’ve changed!
Let’s get out of here to talk.
It’s really good to see you.
I just wondered what day it was.
This has been a long time coming.
Thinking will not change the direction of the wind.
No one spoke.
He didn’t belong and I didn’t know why.
How tightly joined to the earth it was.
All I felt was a shattered space.
I walked the streets looking for people who might look at me.
Then everything became terrifically clear.
He’d never been in a fight
The friends met for dinner
She waited, closed her eyes
The sound was as clear as speech in a room
He still dreams of the river
They sit quietly for a long time
For a few seconds he wondered if he really saw it
Do you see how this used to work?
It was impossible to know anymore
Do you really need that thing?
It just happend more slowly in real time
