Nice photo. Really nice. Unless my eyes deceive me, it looks like a solitary and patient rusted fire hydrant….tucked away somewhere in the middle of an overgrown field. Strange. Be that as it may, it’s worth remembering what the poet Robert Frost said about hydrants – “Talking is a hydrant in the yard and writing is a faucet upstairs in the house. Opening the first takes all the pressure off the second.” :-) Reply
