    As to the question of innocence, real or imagined, I like what Fitzgerald once wrote –

    “I don’t want to repeat my innocence. I want the pleasure of losing it again.”

          I rarely read the “This week in fiction” – interviews – often the authors destroy the magic of their works with explaining too much.
          But this one was really interesting – I liked what he said about transcendence.
