  1. Not sure why I like this photograph as much as I do. Maybe I’ll figure it out.

    Maybe it’s the image of a person who seems almost out of place but fits in, somehow, anyway.

    Or maybe it’s because your text made me remember John Lennon’s words –

    “You may say I’m a dreamer, but I’m not the only one. I hope someday you’ll join us. And the world will live as one.”

    Dreaming. And being hopeful…. :-)

    1. The guy looks hopefully in the wrong direction – nothing to see there except part of the concrete pole.
      That’s why I liked the stencil. What an odd place to put a stencil.

      1. Well….it appears that there’s nothing to see there (in the seemingly empty and/or closed-off direction he is (or appears to be) looking in.

        But perhaps from his perspective, he’s able to see something different than we are.

        After all, as Harper Lee wrote, in ‘To Kill a Mockingbird’ —

        “You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view… Until you climb inside of his skin and walk around in it.”
