    1. :-) – taken on my fishing trip in November in Bamberg. I suffer from a photographer’s block since. Sigh. It’s this time of year. Sigh again.

      Because of the colors and/or the surface the door (i.e. the photo) looks heavily post processed but it isn’t. Funny.

  1. I am in the same doldrums creatively. I am not seeing photos to take. I go out every day to keep in practice but nothing is coming. Soon I am going in for two new lenses, one in each eye. My cataracts have gotten bad enough to require replacement. Then it will be Spring and the pictures will flow:-)

  2. Yes, the straight shot that looks manipulated happens some times. It even happened in the old days when the lighting of the scene would result in a straight b&w print that looked as though it had been clumsily burned and dodged.

    Also, I find this the absolute worst time of the year for pictures—nothing looks right, or interesting, or…
