Not knowing any German past ‘danke, I wondered if it might be “thanks for all the fish”—as in The Hitchiker’s Guide. Reply
The “official” translation is “Danke für den Fisch” which is a little bit … clumsy and also too formal I think. Back translation is “Thank you for the fish”. Reply
