One of my many “oh chickens have to take photo james will like it” adventures in the last months. I wish he would have moved his head some millimeters to the right so the eye would have been in the middle of the fence’s “hole” – but no chance.
Haha, happens to me all the time. I take a photo and some days later I browse the blogs I follow and there it is: x has taken almost the same picture at almost the same time!
That’s how it is.
Poor thing…he looks a bit disturbed.

That rooster is thankful that his fence is keeping pesky photographers and other predators out of his territory. No wonder he looks wary.
Exactly! He didn’t let me take pictures of the hens – always putting himself in front of the lens.
So, that rooster is a lens hog looking for his 15 minutes of fame. I’ve seen dogs that always wanted to be in the picture, but never roosters.
Ah, what can I say … men … ;-)

A bit haunting, as last Wednesday I took a nearly alike picture of a rooster over here.
