Someone put a chair on the warm sunny wind-protected side of a wall – no trash ;-). But the agave … uh … it will take over the neighborhood! ;-)
Thank you very much!
My favourite. I have a plant like that in my garden and am happy for it to fill empty spaces, too many empty spaces in my garden and too many wild ones too.
I planted one in our front yard this summer. In the hope to fend off the dog that thinks our front yard is his/her bathroom. I would prefer the owner to get a bloody nose, though.
I don’t know if this will work out since this is definitely not the climate and the soil for agaves. But so far it doesn’t look so bad.
And it woul be cool to have a front yard full of agaves.
Front yard in our region means 3m x 5m of empty space and soil :-)
Great photo and quote, Martina. I’ve seen neighborhoods like this around here, where the trash just seems to take over. Nice work.

If agave takes over the neighborhood I would recommend making Pulque, the fermented juice of the agave plant. Mexicans live the stuff. Interesting.
Did you ever try it? I only know about it – it’s not durable so I guess you have to go to Mexico to try it …
