Three kinds of suffering here – the chair for the person seated, the optical pollution of monoblocs everywhere, replacing traditional chairmaking skills with that one-shape-fits-all form out of an extruder, and the tons of plastic debris …
This would make a nice internationally distributed project: monoblocs from everywhere.
Because of all the reasons you mentioned I think monoblocs are signs of the downfall of the Occident.
