Because to be a friend of the earth, you have to be an enemy of the people

Now that is a jackrabbit, not a wimpy cotton tail. It is capable of fleeing at high speed to avoid predators. It is the mascot of my university, an animal well suited to the prairie.
I love when our football team plays the Penguins. What an image! Jackrabbits against Penguins. Neither species is scary or ferocious. The best we can do is “dignified.” I’ll go with that.
Haha, penguins.
A friend of mine stayed in Antarctica over winter and took many photos and emailed them on a regular basis. One day she made fun of all of us: she put a plush penguin next to a real penguin and took a photo. Nobody realized. ;-) We all thought we saw two real penguins.
And: who are the Penguins? Sorry, I have no idea about football …
Good question! I admit I had to look up who the Penguins are. It’s Youngstown State University in Ohio. Guess I don’t know much about football either, but we were at a game with them. About seven years ago our University went division one in athletics and a few years later joined a new league including the Penguins. That’s a funny story about your friend’s penguin photos. Bet she enjoyed her joke. She had to find something to do in an Antarctic winter.

Cotton tails are cute. Jackrabbits are dignified.
