Glue traces? I recently got aware of their patterns, and now I see them in so many places. A trained psychiatrist might write character studies based on their shapes.
I think they correspond well with the remnants/outlines of the overpainted Kleister below (I use Kleister because dictionary says Kleister=glue – that doesn’t sound right).

How perfect. I have seen so many bad paintings that look like this. Minimalist in concept and execution. Good fun.
While I was taking the photograph an elderly woman stopped and asked me why I am not taking photographs of the beautiful parts of Paris …. umph.
