Gone Fishin’
Has anything really changed, and will it ever?
She sees the women they both used to be, disappearing, becoming other.
The house is now perfectly silent.
I thought you might be interested.
Better be allies than rivals.
I have something that might help you.
I won’t tolerate that kind of behavior in my house.
She said goodbye as quickly as she could.
She can already see the chickens pacing.
Why are you telling me this?
The anger comes back, but sweeter this time.
Gone Fishin’
This is what was always meant to happen.
Where did you live before traveling here?
They sit in silence for a moment.
One day you’ll realize that I was right all along.
What story could travel so many leagues unaltered?
She can dream as much as she wants.
Can you unsee what you dream of?
The vulnerability of it all—perfect and disastrous.
I suppose you do not care to know how it all started?
The memories feel better than the reality.
Don’t open it before it’s time.
She hadn’t needed anyone to tell her what to do.
Let’s go, the road is clear.
Of course, you’d want to keep all the dangers together.
The world started to feel far again.
Now are you going to tell me what is happening?
You’re not the only one who can be mysterious.
She wanted only the present, which was all she could trust.
She tries to focus on what she knows.
She had been wandering for an hour, maybe two.
