She had no feelings
They hadn’t spoken about anything

They were wild
I could hear a rustling sound just around the corner
The beast hugged me to its breast
But the beast was gone
I’d said see you soon to the people at work
Staring into a scribble of black trees
Does it make you claustrophobic?
Not that many people even know it exists
Those emotions are really powerful, though
I’m really glad to be here

Beyond the house the dirt is blond and bare
How dazzling the world was. How strange.
