Thanks for the Ian McEwan recommendation. I found “Hand on the Shoulder” and read it in the train back home.
And did you like it? I am not really sure – it’s an excerpt of a novel, usually I don’t like excerpts that much. But this one … really makes me think perhaps I should read the novel. The protagonist’s pov was very realistic. I liked that. How stupid you can be when you are in love. Ah yes.
Oh yes, I enjoyed it very much! And I’d say it works well as a appetizer for the novel, with sex and crime and psychology ;)
When I was in Japan I went to watch a soccer match and they changed there clothes, down to their jock straps, right on the field. Any luck here?
LOL – but really — there are some things in life that are okay if they don’t happen, ;-).
This photo was taken on May 1st when traditionally many Germans make small excursions, barbecues, pickniks.. And of course … beer will be there, too. These guys were in a condition – I guess they skipped the barbecue and went straight to the beer. Nothing I would like to see naked or in underwear.
