    1. It’s strange that something that was a part of life for decades simply doesn’t exist anymore. I can’t remember when I last used one. Twenty years ago? Twenty-five years ago?

Now it’s even so interesting that I take a photo.

Since it is installed in a narrow dark underpass perhaps France Telecom simply forgot it? ;-)

      1. Technology has a way of moving on. Just think how important records were for music, and those were replaced by music CDs, which have now been replaced with digital downloads. I still have a pile of records and CDs, but haven’t played a record in decades now. Phone technology is much the same. My grandparents had a candle stick telephone, and for a while my parents had a hand crank, party line phone connected to an operator. My Dad put in a private line as soon as he could which was about six months after we moved there. What will make the iPhone obsolete?

    1. I must admit I haven’t watched neither the series nor the movie. So – I don’t know. :-(

(hm, neither – nor … I am really doing complicated things right now…)
