Interesting, but odd decision to paint the building this color. Some photos are better in color, including this one. Nothing wrong with your decision making.
It’s one of the official buildings on campus. I liked the colour from the first sight, though usually I am not a big fan of green. But really, is there any reason official buildings have to be grey or black?
Most people I asked don’t like it.
Can’t say that I’m a fan of this shade of bilious green. It’s a color more likely to be found on a hot rod car, a t-shirt, or in a spray can graffiti drawing. Universities use to be more dignified places. Perhaps I’m just showing that I’m a cantankerous old geezer. But then I have no reason to complain as I don’t have to look at the place.
This is the building of the department of the federal state authority for construction that is responsible for construction on university campus. Does that makes sense? It’s not easy to explain these administrative structures. However, since they are in charge of every building and construction on campus they can chose any colour they want I guess ;-). It’s not really university so no reason to be dignified …
They don’t look like they want to come out and play anytime soon. Probably in there not deciding. My brother-in-law works at San Francisco State University and runs into the same Machiavellian structure all the time.
No one in these places understands how to keep the dark in any more. At the Univ of Nebraska they built a new music building where there was a fan in the performance area that produced a 90 db hum.

Aaah, I good tell stories about their decisions …. the last one was the story of the dark room with a glass door …
