I’d had a dream and I’d chased it and almost chased it down
I certainly didn’t know where to go
I had to do something before the humans arrived
I think we must have all been in awe of the moment
Maybe I was the coward for running away
But that was just a moment, and moments, by definition, are momentary, and pass
Nothing changed
I wish there were someone I could tell
Everything had to be perfect
It was a hard lesson that not everyone has to learn
Everything was all right, really
She always paused here in her mind
It had been a pleasant enough day
He didn’t investigate
I could never really understand why it haunted me
A whole year of history
I could hear a rustling sound just around the corner
The beast hugged me to its breast
The air was chilled, and stank like rotten roots and sewage
Those emotions are really powerful, though
Sometimes, the house was empty all day long
I move silently, and quickly
An almost cool looking, strong, calm light
On the wall, pasted or pinned or tacked or printed
I will do whatever you decide
You will measure time passing at exactly the same rate
All observers will measure the same speed of light
No way, dude. Don’t even go there
I don’t like fiendish illusions
No one spoke or made eye contact
You and I know what goes on
And I watched with a mixture of fear and fascination
I was dreaming about myself
I moved on
We have something you want
We need more true mystery in our lives
It sounds like a charming place
You need to get out more
My room was still there
I’ll be back
The top of the mountain looms ahead
There is no sound, nothing
Well, he was at the end of all that now
He didn’t know where this was leading
I can’t read your mind
What are you up to today?
Time has become disjointed
Do you think it was worth it?
I decided I would never decide again
I’ve had a fascination with art ever since
