The keeping of accurate time is of great importance to the human civilization

The speed of light in a vacuum is a defined quantity: 299,792,458 m/s exactly

All observers will measure the same speed of light

It’s a nice day ̶̶ there’s no rush

Light moves through empty space with a single speed, no matter what the observer is doing

It’s a lot of space to fill with stuff

There is no such thing as an absolute time

The only force that acts is gravity

For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction

Force equals mass times acceleration

No way, dude. Don’t even go there

So how do you tell when you’re moving?

And the Earth is rotating
