I am ready to do anything. Anything!
It feels like something was different out there
It’s as true now as it was almost a century ago
Nobody knew it at the time
I guess I should be thankful
It’s usually not a problem
He went for a walk every morning
It’s not like you do it all the time
It’s just a habit, I think
Do you know why you are here today?
All it had to do was recall the quickest path to the chocolate
His specialty was exploring how the brain stores events
It isn’t always simple
It’s changed everything about how I see the world
I know you’ve told this story a dozen times
Gone fishin’
Yet in general it is still safe
I move silently, and quickly
At this certain time of late morning
An almost cool looking, strong, calm light
On the wall, pasted or pinned or tacked or printed
It has also a certain odor
And it stands before us, facing us
Beyond the house the dirt is blond and bare
He felt exceedingly hopeful
It’s the voice of a blond, fat, and craven rooster
Move on out into the open
Here I was on the porch, diddling around in a notebook
I do not understand nor try to deduce this, but I like it
Their hats and their shirts shedding light
The land sank quietly away toward woods which ran trendrils along it
Let us now praise famous men
Don’t be stubborn
Don’t just stand there, do something
I will do whatever you decide
How dazzling the world was. How strange.
Water running
Cover me with rocks
She was not at peace; quite the opposite
She was sick of visitors
How could anybody rest?
You should get some rest
Should they stay or should they go?
I’ll let you know if anything happens
They didn’t speak of it
It’s like … it was all choreographed for me
We were trying to find ways not to be villains
We were looking for a moment
You and I are not so different
We had something to say to one another
